Concrete roof tiles are covering elements made from concrete. They are produced differently from fired clay tiles but serve the same roofing purpose. They should therefore not be excluded when discussing solar installation on a “tiled roof”.

Can a universal replacement tile work here too?

Our solution is intended for many roof tile shapes, not just one material. Suitability for a particular concrete tile depends especially on its geometry and cover dimensions as laid on the roof.

According to the data sheet, our standard tile covers widths up to 300 mm and lengths of 300–390 mm. This is a dimensional range, not blanket approval for every concrete tile made by a manufacturer.

For building materials merchants, the benefit is an adaptable system: the same basic solution serves different supported profiles. The technical documents remain decisive for selection. We explain the difference from model-specific replacements separately.

Our articles explain the differences between clay roof tiles and concrete roof tiles. Specifications for our replacement are in the product documents.

Based on our March 2025 data sheet and November 2025 installation guide. This article explains the system; it does not replace project-specific design or the installation guide.
