Choosing a PV replacement tile: what to check first

• Cover width and length: the effective dimensions of the element as laid.
• Profile, overlap and roof pitch.
• Planned rail and the matching roof hook variant.

The outside dimensions of a loose tile are not enough. Part of it sits beneath or alongside its neighbours. The actual installed covering matters for the fit.
