PV in heavy-snow areas: what planning must resolve

At a snowy location, matching the tile shape is not enough. The PV installation and its fixing must be designed for the particular roof. A replacement tile solves the transition in the covering; it is not a general promise of load capacity.

Universal describes adaptability, not every possible load

Our tile can be shaped to different supported profiles. That does not mean every installation at every location needs the same number of fixing points. Describing a hook as “robust” is no substitute for design calculations.

Check the structural connection separately

With CLEVER-TILE ®, the mounting structure’s loads pass through the hook fixed into timber. The replacement tile’s support on the tile below relates to its own weight. These functions must be distinguished.
